Geo Itabashi Ukimafunado has received the Good Design Award 2026. We were responsible for the interior design and art direction of the communal areas. The development features an exceptionally well-appointed shared space: the main entrance area integrates a lounge, a library, and a kids' corner, while a separate communal building houses a party room and guest accommodations. Inspired by the landscape of 100 years ago—when the Arakawa River meandered near the site—we adopted the theme of a "Living room by the water". The design ensures a fluid, interconnected layout that encourages movement throughout the various zones. The main artwork, centered on the theme of water, was created by Aiko Yamamoto, while the guest rooms feature works by Ilva Carlgren.
