広尾のリノベーション

We designed a full renovation of a ground-floor condominium unit, with a small garden. The palette of materials and colors are kept to the absolute minimum: Narural oak, gray steel/tiles, and white paint. The wood slat-covered wall encloses the bedroom/closet area while the top being open so that the spaces do not feel divided, but rather, unified. The kitchen counter makes a gentle transition in proportions as it extends into the living area in one continuous form.

70年代に建てられた集合住宅の専用庭付き住戸をフルリノベーションした。生活の背景として極力シンプルな空間にすることを意図して、素材の色をナチュラルオーク、グレー（タイル、カウンタートップとスチール）、白塗装の３色に限定している。細巾の化粧木で覆われた自立壁は玄関からリビングへと空間を繋ぎ、ベッドルームとクローゼットを柔らかく包み込む。壁の上部を開放して全体でひとつの空間として感じられるほか、開き戸を使わないことで住戸内の回遊にストレスがない。キッチンカウンターは流れるようにプロポーションを変えながら違和感なくリビングルームにつながるようにデザインした。
