Hamacho is in the Eastern side of Tokyo, and part of the greater Nihombashi area of the City. The hotel concept developed with the Owner is "Craft and Green", taking cues from the area's unique culture of hand-craft and rich greenery continuous from the nearby Hamacho Park. The entire front facade features deep-recessed balconies with planters filled with greenery, visible from both inside and outside. The "live facade" is intended to become an iconic landmark in an area which otherwise has little uniqueness or character. The hotel features a social ground floor with a jazz bar/restaurant integrated with the hotel lobby.

安田不動産が推進する日本橋浜町エリアの街づくりにおいて、その基幹施設として計画された170室のホテルである。コンセプトの「手仕事と緑」をホテルのファサードに展開し、大胆な外装緑化は客室内部からも存分に楽しめる。2階のコンセプトルームは「アーチスト・イン・レジデンス」として海外のデザイナーが国内の作り手と創作したアイテムが展示され、宿泊ゲストが実際に使うこともできる革新的な取り組みである。１階のロビーエリアは併設のジャズバー・レストランと空間的に一体となるようにデザインされ、近隣住民も気軽に立ち寄ることができるオープンな「街のリビングルーム」をイメージした。
