A project carried out in parallel with HAMACHO HOTEL in the block next door, WAVES is a shared vertical living community in a tower. Residents here have the privilege of using the common kitchen/lounge at the top two floors, enjoying a spectacular view of the City while developing valuable network with fellow residents. An attempt was made in this project to create a compact tower prototype for an increasingly popular living option for young professionals in Tokyo.

近隣のHAMACHO HOTELと並行して計画されたシェアハウスプロジェクトである。浜町エリアのさらなる魅力向上に向けて、アクティブな若いビジネスパーソンが移り住みたくなるソーシャルな機会を創出する共用部を作り込んだ。最上階２層を共用キッチン・ラウンジに充て、誰もが都市の眺望を楽しめるようにすると共に、住人同士の偶発的で自然なネットワーキングの場になることを期待している。近年人気が高まる「シェアコミュニティー」をコンパクトなタワーとして実現した、都心居住の新たな提案である。
