An office building for the group operating the country's largest chain of university exam preparatory schools. Its highly visible corner site led to a design where the elevator core soars like a symbolic tower with an iconic turtle-shell pattern derived from the letter "Y", which comes from the owner's corporate name. The entire building is an earthquake-isolated structure, providing a piece of mind for staff and students.

​代々木に本拠を置く予備校グループのオフィスビル計画である。JR代々木駅からの非常に高い視認性を意識し、プラン上三角形の敷地の鋭角にあたる部分に配置したエレベーターコアをシンボリックなタワーとして造形し、代々木の「Y」をモチーフにした亀甲パターンのアルミパネルで覆って強いインパクトを与えたいと思った。建物全体が免震構造となっており、将来に渡って永く地域のシンボルとなることを意図している。
