This is a full gut-out renovation project of a 40-year old condominium unit. Similar to our other Hiroo renovation project, we aimed for simplicity while giving the unit a new life with high quality finish materials and a functional layout. While the former layout had the washing machine in the balcony and a separate toilet, we combined them in one space with the bath for greater space efficiency. The combination of narural oak and white walls provide a comfortable background for any kind of furnishings which the future dweller may bring.
築40年ほど経過したマンションの住戸をフルリノベーションした。これまでのリノベーションプロジェクトで共通するコンセプトを踏襲し、極限まで間仕切りや建具を省くことで豊かな空間を生むことを目標とした。従前は別々だった風呂とトイレ、バルコニーにあった洗濯機置場をすべて一カ所に集約して空間効率を高め、十分な収納を確保しながらワンルーム居住スペースの最大化を図っている。カラースキムはナチュラルオークと白塗装の2色に限定し、シンプルで上品な空間に仕上げた。壁一面の造作家具として製作したキッチンは、合板のエッジを表しにするディテールで床・壁のオーク材に馴染ませている。
