This is a proposal for a new gymnasium replacing the old facility in service for 30 years. The program called for an indoor sports facility accomodating two full-size basketball courts and 80 parking spaces on a relatively compact lot, which led us to lift the gymnasium off the ground and lay out the parking spaces underneath. This arrangement proves to also be effective as a refugee center during a flood disaster. The landscape is a welcome addition of open spaces and greenery to the community.
