Hamacho is in the Eastern side of Tokyo, and part of the greater Nihombashi area of the City. The hotel concept developed with the Owner is "Craft and Green", taking cues from the area's unique culture of hand-craft and rich greenery continuous from the nearby Hamacho Park. The entire front facade features deep-recessed balconies with planter filled with greenery, visible from both inside and outside. The "live" facade is intended to become an iconic landmark in an area otherwise lacking of architectural character. The hotel features a social ground floor with a jazz bar/restaurant integrated with the hotel lobby.
