Kaka-Tojo is a Japanese restaurant annexed to Onsen Ryokan Yuen Shinjuku. The single-story free-standing structure has an iconic pitched roof and a small Japanese garden. The full-height North-facing window admits gentle natural light during daytime, while at night, the interior lights are dimmed and the garden is quietly lit up. The minimalistic interior features a solid hinoki wood counter as the centerpiece, elegantly bracketing the show kitchen.
